Kerry and I are sitting vigil with Laura tonight. Kerry was Laura’s partner for 19 years. She has been a tireless support for both of us since Laura’s illness. Here she is with Laura when they went cycling around Central Park only two months ago.

Kerry though we have never met Laura told me so much about you and the wonderful times you both shared. I am so sorry for your loss. She was blessed to have you in her life and there on the last night of her life. And from the posts I see that you have been there for Lucie as well. Bless you both. The circle of love is wide and deep. Laura brought us all together.
Kerry, I hope our paths cross again. Until then, I pray that the universe gives you the strength you need to grieve Laura’s loss.

Laura loved you very much. You should know that many times over the years she spoke of you, and always said how sad she was that you two were not in touch. How glad she was when you reconnected! And how close our lives were when she and I had our place on The Cape and you had a place there too! Lost opportunities. Our lives are brief. Yes I hope we met soon Elaine. Until then, sending love.
