Perhaps I should try on this book. I haven’t been able to concentrate on any fiction since my accident, couldn’t even get beyond one page. The only few books I’ve read since 21/2 years (no more than 4) were of “inspirational” nature, how to survive the present moment and move on to the next moment. Survival guides to keep me from drowning. From the quote you posted, I can say that Donna Tartt’s writing style appeals to me. I had never heard of her before. I downloaded the free sample of 90+ pages on my I-pad and like what I have read so far. It’s a thick book, though…., 700+ pages. Are you through the whole books yet, Lucie?

yes, took me a while. A month maybe. Then i wanted to go back and read the last 50 pages again they were so moving.
