Hello from Boston

Here I am in Boston Mass General Hospital – day 10., Its 4.30 am, Thursday September 12.

I should be going home to New York today. Woo hooo!!!! My neighbor Connie and I are listening to music and dreaming of our escape. I’m listening to the BeeGee’s ‘How Deep is Your Love.’

I slipped on the Breakwater in Provincetown, cape cod and smashed up my left elbow and lightly broke (fortunately there is such a thing) my left foot. An amazing team of surgeons here, led by dr Esposito, put my arm back together and the prognosis is very good. I’m surrounded by everyday angels who’ve come to my aid – judy, Pat, jen, nathan, Kate, lisa and my incredible sis andrea flying from the Uk to be by my side on day one. Just Wow!!!

Now homeward. A new chapter begins.

Went on the bird walk yesterday and heard of your mishap. I wish that I had some bird songs to send you…..but instead a virtual hug.
