Less stressful than day one. But I just finished all the prep work and it is 10.30pm. Am so wired from all the adrenaline, I’m up mucking about on the computer rather than sleeping. Laura is wired up too, but that’s from imbibing all that ‘upside down’ coffee.
We haven’t quite mastered the new routine yet. It should be bed by 9pm, up at 6am. It was easier to sleep in Tijuana. The only noise was a few dogs barking outside and the constant jingle of the gas van. That noise became so embedded in our sub-conscious that Laura now goes around singing it.
