Laura – I love food and don’t believe anybody could love it more than me.  Sometimes I scroll through Google images just looking at clams, sardines, lamb, oxtail, short ribs, pork belly, etc. I can get lost doing this for hours. Today it was Lobster Newburgh. I’ve had my share of New England lobster in my life having had a house on Cape Cod, but wouldn’t it be nice to cook up a sherry, cream and brandy sauce to go with lobster? Will I ever eat this again? I don’t know. I’m just living through photos and recipes for now. At the moment I’m a vegan because of my melanoma cancer.

My friend Bill came over to help out this weekend. He’s a stellar chef who cooks for a wealthy family and does it with such panache, I often drool over his dishes. I’m so sorry we didn’t hang out more in New York City. We could have gone to many different fabulous restaurants and had their tasting menus. I would have loved to do this but now instead we swap stories of food porn.
