You should read At Least In the City, They’d hear me scream. Very funny. Also Tina Fey’s Bossypants and if you really want to escape, there is a memoir of a woman who grew up inside the palace of Sadam Hussein (her father was his pilot)- Between Two Worlds. she has since started Women for Women, an international advocacy group.
